2023-2024 Voluntary Supply List

Parents often ask if there are supplies they need to purchase for their child. Nebraska Statutes guarantee that all schools provide a free, appropriate public education. Lincoln Public Schools provides all necessary basic supplies and equipment for students to use in their classroom.

Extra supplies that grade levels and teachers find helpful for the 2023-2024 school year can be found HERE. This is a voluntary donation, not a request or requirement for any child. If you would like to purchase any items, they can be dropped off at school or sent with your child.

2023-2024 Before & After School Plan

Please fill out your plans for what will generally happen before and after school. With this information, we can work together to ensure all children know and follow their arrival and dismissal plans.

We know that sometimes special situations will change your family routines for before and after school. That is okay. In a case where your normal plan changes and you need to let your child know about a change in plans, please call the school office by 3:00 PM so we can help facilitate the change with your child. If you pick your child up from an alternate location, please decide beforehand with your child where it is and what this location will be called so they can easily understand where to go.

Please submit one form for each student.

2023-2024 Kindergarten Jumpstart

On Wednesday, July 26th from 1:00-2:30pm, we will be hosting a Kindergarten Jumpstart! This is a great opportunity for students to begin meeting other kindergartners and getting a feel for the classrooms. Students will get the opportunity to meet multiple teachers and participate in mixed groups during this time. The short amount of time allows for students to adjust to the school climate and structure before the first day. Please fill out this form to let us know whether your child will or will not be attending. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend a parent/guardian orientation on Wednesday, July 26th. We will start shortly after 1:00 in our multi-purpose room.

As a reminder, you are welcome to turn in any paperwork in the meantime by emailing them, faxing them to Humann (402-458-3245), or dropping them off. You are also welcome to bring in paperwork the day of Kindergarten Jumpstart. (Birth Certificate, Immunizations, Physical Form, Vision Exam, Dental Exam, any Custody or Legal Documentation)

We look forward to meeting your child at Kindergarten Jumpstart!
